Using and connecting
Which devices does QuickQ VPN support?
Windows 10/11, macOS 12 and later, iOS 14+, iPadOS, Android 8+, Android TV, Linux (Ubuntu 20.04+/Debian 11+) and OpenWrt 21+ routers. Lightweight Chrome and Edge extensions are also available.
How many devices can connect at once?
Six on monthly and annual plans, eight on the two-year plan. Slots are not tied to hardware, so signing out frees one instantly and you can remove old devices from your account centre.
Connection fails or keeps dropping. What now?
First switch to another server in the same region. If it still fails, set transport to Automatic so the app can change protocol on a restricted network, then restart your router. If none of that helps, send support the diagnostic code from the app.
Is setup complicated?
No. Install, sign in, press connect — server, protocol and cipher are chosen for you. Advanced users can still pin a server and configure split tunnelling and DNS.
Speed and experience
Will QuickQ slow my connection down?
Encryption and relaying always cost something, but smart routing usually avoids congested paths. Most users keep more than 80% of their original bandwidth, and cross-border access is often faster and far steadier than without it.
How do I get lower latency?
Prefer a physically closer server and compare options on the latency board before switching. For games, use the gaming server pool and pause large downloads.
Can I watch Netflix, Disney+ and other services?
We maintain server pools tuned for streaming and high-bitrate playback. Actual availability depends on each platform's regional licensing and live policy; if you see a region notice, another server in the same pool usually resolves it.
Does it work with ChatGPT, Claude and similar AI services?
Yes, through the AI-optimised routes. Results still depend on each provider's regional policy, so pairing them with clean-IP servers is recommended.
Privacy and security
Do you log my activity?
No. We do not record browsing history, DNS queries, connection timestamps or destination addresses. Account and order data needed for billing is stored separately and is not correlated with traffic.
What encryption do you use?
AES-256-GCM and ChaCha20-Poly1305 on the transport layer, with forward-secret key exchange. The kill switch is on by default and blocks plaintext traffic if a link fails.
Is public Wi-Fi safe with QuickQ?
Once connected, others on the same hotspot cannot read your traffic. Adding networks you use often to the auto-connect list means you never forget to turn it on.
Billing and support
Can I get a refund?
Annual and two-year plans are fully refundable within 30 days of purchase. Monthly plans are not refundable but auto-renewal can be switched off at any time. Request refunds through in-app support or your account centre.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Major cards, PayPal, Alipay and WeChat Pay. Invoices and receipts download from your account centre.
